Dave, Thanks for the link to my posting. Apparently the last public input on the Wise County Coal Plant proposed by Dominion Virginia Power may have just occurred on Tuesday at DEQ in Richmond. If the plant is licensed, it appears that the plant will be required to use coal mined through mountaintop removal in southwest Virginia. I am sure many of those mountains to be blasted are as beautiful as Monticello Mountain.
