Tomorrow (Thurs., July 23) at 6pm is the annual "Taste of Ghana" celebration at Burley Middle School on Rose Hill Dr. This year's festivities will kick off with a report-out by members of the Charlottesville delegation (including myself) who recently visited Ghana to explore development of exchanges (youth, academic, cultural, business, civic, etc.) with our potential new Sister City, Winneba. Tomorrow will also feature the debut of youth filmmaker Quintin Franklyn's travelogue documentary about that journey. All of this will be followed by a feast of delicious Ghanaian foods. Come join us!
