We're Taking Over

Random piece of local political trivia. In January, David Slutzky is likely to become Chair of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors. Which means that the top two local elected officials in our area (Norris and Slutzky), as well as our State Delegate (Toscano), our Commonwealth's Attorney (Chapman) and the most senior member of City Council (Brown), will all be Daves.

If our General Assembly liaison (Blount) ever needs to discuss legislation involving our local restorative justice program (Saunier), it very well could trigger a meeting between Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave and Dave.

Thank God a couple of them prefer to go by "David" or else it could get confusing. :-)
