Extraordinary Volunteer Needed for Extraordinary Volunteer Opportunity

The Winneba subcommittee of the Charlottesville Sister City Commission is seeking a dedicated, responsible, task-oriented volunteer (preferably, though not necessarily, someone with international travel experience) to coordinate activities in support of the new Sister City relationship between Charlottesville and Winneba, Ghana.

We are seeking someone who is available approx. 5-10 hours/week to facilitate meetings of the Winneba subcommittee, to help organize fund-raising and awareness-raising events, and to help plan future exchanges between the two Sister Cities. Note: the person who takes on this volunteer opportunity will likely have the extraordinary experience of participating in an official Sister City delegation to Winneba in the coming year.
