"What They Didn't Teach Us in Library School"

This is the best article I think I've ever read about homelessness in today's America -- written by a public librarian in downtown Salt Lake City. It's long, but it makes so many excellent points that I just had to post the link:

Thanks for posting. I went by the library today, forgetting they had posted an in-service day and were closed. I wasn't the only one who wanted to get inside, but at least I was able to get back in my car and drive home.
